A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is an independent lab report verifying a product’s purity, potency, and safety. Here are the key sections to check:

• 1. Batch & Lot Number: Verify that the batch number on the COA matches the lot number printed on your product’s packaging.
• 2. Alkaloid Potency: Look at the concentrations of primary active compounds—mainly Mitragynine (typically 1.0%–2.0%). This confirms the product’s strength.
• 3. Heavy Metals Screening: Ensure levels for lead, arsenic, cadmium, and mercury show a “Pass” or fall well below established safety limits (parts per million/ppm).
• 4. Microbial Testing: Check for pathogens such as Salmonella, E. coli, yeast, and mold. Safe results will read “Negative,” “ND” (None Detected), or “Pass.”
• 5. Lab Accreditation & Date: Confirm the test was performed by an ISO-accredited third-party laboratory and completed recently.
